Global Game Jam 2015
So the Global Game Jam happened in January. I attended at the NYU Metrotech location along with a bunch of other TCNJ alums. As promised, more music! Sorry, no gameplay footage for these. They aren’t quite as polished as some other past jam games…
The theme was “What do we do now?” For the first game I worked on, “What’s Next, Captain?” you play as an overly confident captain attended by his loyal (and adorable) crew, Beep and Boop. Your task is to make decisions, regardless of their perceived consequences to you… or your round little friends. You don’t know why, but you just have to. Here’s the music:

The next game I believe was titled “Kaleb Häagen-Dazs.” Or something to that effect… Basically you are the PR guy to a celebrity and must get him through a throng of adoring fans while preventing him from tweeting/saying too many stupid things by giving him smoothies and stuff. They told me to “make something that you think sounds cool,” so I went for the music you might hear in the lobby of a really chic hotel. I call it “The Ritz.”
Grandma President (webseries)
Also in January, I helped out with the theme music for a new online webseries that has just launched! It is called Grandma President. Follow the link to watch the first episode!
Upcoming Solo Recital
Lastly, I will be performing a solo, all-classical, piano recital at the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville. It is Sunday, 4/26 from 5-6:30pm. Tickets are $15. Family pricing and advance tickets are available. The program will include works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, and Gershwin. Follow the link to their website or call the church office at 609-737-1385 for more information.
Hope to see you there!
